With a few snow storms here and there the last few weeks, for the most part the start of winter in Iowa has been mild. When I moved to Des Moines about two months ago, I expected the temperatures for December to be well below today?s high of 56 degrees.
State Climatologist Harry Hillaker says yes temperatures should be. Hillaker says expect a big rainmaker Saturday into Sunday where southeastern Iowa could see upwards of 2 inches of rain. Click on audio above to hear more!
