The Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network is opening nominations for the County Fair Award in 2026 to honor individuals, families, exhibitors, or board members who have shown exceptional dedication and passion for their county fair and community. Six awards will be presented—one for each district in Iowa. District winners will be recognized at the county level and receive a prize package, along with special recognition at the 2026 Iowa State Fair during the County Fair Day Dinner on Friday, August 14, 2026. Nomination criteria and deadlines are below. You can submit the completed form online by clicking “Send Message” at the bottom. All entries must be submitted online or postmarked by June 7, 2026.

To be eligible for the award:

  • The nominees must have exhibited or served as a volunteer or leader at the County Fair level.
  • Past or present Fair Board members may be nominated.
  • Individuals, 4-H or FFA exhibitors, and families are all eligible.
  • The nominee must be a resident of Iowa.

Winners will receive:

  • $250 in cash
  • 6- 2025 Iowa State Fair admission tickets
  • 1- 2025 Iowa State Fair parking pass
  • $50 in food coupons
  • Recognition at the county fair, through Iowa Agribusiness Radio and at the Iowa State Fair
