This week?s report was certainly an interesting one. Since the USDA is switching over to a new reporting system, the numbers were a bit confusing. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride they?re not quite sure what to do with the numbers yet, but, as of right now, they look very bullish.
Frankly, it?s pretty out of character for the markets to be modest with their numbers. However, McBride said this is such a unique case that the marketplace took a moment to actually wait and think before reacting.
As we approach the end of the marketing year, McBride said to expect a few changes to exports and commodity prices.
With all of these changes, it?s important to keep an eye on the markets. McBride provided some advice for producers who are tracking the situation.
