House Ag Committee Republican Rick Crawford asked for support from USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins at a recent hearing to help speed up ARC and PLC payments. Arkansas Representative Rick Crawford says that payments can sometimes be delayed by up to a year.
Crawford told Secretary Rollins that he is pushing for legislation that will help to fast-track payments.
The Congressman argued that ARC and PLC payments need to be made in “real time,” and not delayed for up to a year or more. Secretary Rollins was receptive to his concerns.
