Colfax Sheep Auction: May 9, 2015

COLFAX, Iowa – This Saturday?s weekly sheep and goat auction in Colfax saw a heavier run of sheep, but fewer goats than the previous week. With 653 head of sheep sold, feeder lambs brought in the day?s high average price of $2.09 per pound. Fed lambs averaged $1.71 per pound, while prices on the 57 head of goats ranged from $100-$162.50 per head.
