Following yesterday’s WASDE report, it?s not surprising that today?s U.S. Export Sales Report didn?t bring much excitement either. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride provided a breakdown of this week?s report.
The bar has been set low for corn exports, but they still continue to disappoint. McBride said that we could see a change to estimates in January if this trend continues.
McBride added that we?ve also had two days of consecutive flash sales this week.
While corn numbers continue to perform poorly, soybeans are seeing decent sales numbers, so McBride said the USDA likely won?t make any adjustments there.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers.
