Farmers are constantly under a lot of pressure to manage many different parts of their operation all at once, no matter what time of year it is. As we get into harvest season, though, a lot of farmers are going to be monitoring their grain bins to make sure their crop is stored safely and soundly. GSI?s Greg Trame talked about their GrainVue system and how it can help take a lot of pressure off of farmers? shoulders.
Trame said GrainVue is capable of monitoring and automating grain bins, which can prevent issues like mold from happening in the first place.
Since GrainVue is active 24/7, Trame said it can take advantage of aeration windows where farmers would be too busy to run the fans.
Trame said it?s easiest to implement this system into a new grain bin, but any bin can be retrofitted with a GrainVue system.
Trame added that GrainVue is easy to use through an optimized website.
