Iowa U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley met with reporters Tuesday for his weekly conference call. Grassley told reporters that his cattle price discovery and transparency bill will not be included in the latest omnibus spending package.
Grassley says that the bill won?t be included in the spending package despite bipartisan support.
Senator Grassley also provided an update on upcoming confirmation votes including the vote for Iowan, Alexis Taylor, to become Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Grassley was also asked about the Water Resources Development Act of 2022 and what it means for Iowans.
