Zippy Duvall, American Farm Bureau Federation President, announced the organization?s priorities for the next farm bill on Thursday.
AFBF wants to see nutrition and farm programs stay together and also programs that help with risk management for farmers.
Duvall says that the next step in messaging is to emphasize the importance of the farm bill to all members of congress regardless of where their home district is.
Farm Bureau delegates will consider and give final approval to the priorities during the 2023 Farm Bureau Convention, in Puerto Rico.
