The USDA released its weekly U.S. Export Sales Report on Thursday.

This week?s U.S. Export Sales Report was uneventful. However, with the current bullish marketplace, that?s actually good for the markets. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said that, overall, today?s report was a mixed bag.

After yesterday?s market activity, there was hope that?d there would be more action today. McBride said they were looking for a flash sale this morning, but it didn?t end up coming through.

While today?s report may have been a bit ho-hum, it?s important to take a step back and realize how good the markets are right now. McBride said there?s a lot of support from export demand, especially when it comes to soybeans.

McBride also provided some news from other agricultural commodities, like cotton and wheat.

McBride added some advice for Iowa producers.
