As harvest continues to roll along, now is a great time to think of how to improve things for next year. Managing your stored grain can take a lot of guesswork, but much of that can be removed with an automated system. GSI’s GrainVue system has been helping farmers monitor their grain and give them peace of mind during one of the most stressful times of the year. Alan Lockwood, product manager of grain conditioning at GSI, said the user interface was updated this year, which helps give users a better understanding of how things are operating.
Lockwood said the fan control module has also been updated to operate wirelessly.
One of the key updates for soybean producers is the addition of a rehydration mode.
Even though GrainVue is able to manage so much of the drying process, Lockwood said installation is still a straightforward process.
