On Tuesday October 9, Mitt Romney made a campaign stop in Van Meter, roughly 20 minutes outside of Des Moines. Speaking in front of a barn to a crowd of nearly 1,000, Romney contrasted his intentions for ag policy with the Obama administration’s track record.
The Romney campaign also released a 14-page white paper on agricultural policy, which delves further into the specifics Romney was light on in his campaign stop. You can view the paper here.
