AMVAC?s new BioWake? is a great addition to their crop health line

When it comes to raising a crop, you must have a strong start. More and more, we are seeing products being added in-furrow during planting, which gives our crops not only a strong start but also helps them the whole year through. Getting more of these products on at once gives you strength and protection in fewer passes. That helps your bottom line when diesel fuel is highly-priced.

AMVAC knows all too well about getting crop nutrients and protection on at planting with their SIMPAS system. While the technology is beneficial to farmers on so many levels, there is also something to be said about the tried-and-true methods we have always used.

Farmers have long used graphite or talc as a lubricant in their seedboxes during planting. These products help with seed flow when being planted. However, now AMVAC has a product called BioWake? that does that, plus adds increased nutrient uptake, better root development, and stress tolerance. All of this is from one product added to your planter box.

Jim Lappin is the Director of the SIMPAS Applied Solutions Portfolio. He talks about the new BioWake? product. He says that the planter box product does not conflict with the SIMPAS solutions. It is designed to go in a most-efficient way, in tandem with the products used with SIMPAS.

Adding BioWake? to your existing AMVAC seed health plans can give you the maximum return on investment for total crop nutrition and protection in just one pass. At the very least, it will limit the number of passes you have to make.
