Safety on the farm is not only about today but also about the future. National Farm Safety and Health Week is September 21st-25th and is the time of year when farmers and the rural community are reminded of the importance of farming in a safe manner today to bring about success tomorrow.
That is Dan Neenan of the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety. Neenan says that while National Farm Safety and Health Week is a great time for messaging, farm safety is a year-round mission.
