It’s never too early to start thinking about the next crop season already. Vince Restucci, market segment manager with Valent, said farmers can start making next year’s plans as they sit in their combine cabs during harvest.
Restucci said many financing programs for 2026 have already started.
Planning for next year at this point can seem daunting, but Restucci said he often advises farmers to think as if they are doing the same plan for next year and figure out what changes need to be made from there.
Restucci said many prepay programs are going to open soon as well, so farmers need to know when those programs open and what the rates are.
Restucci said there’s a wide variety of options out there, so farmers need to communicate with their bankers and retailers to find what works best for them.
Restucci added that Valent has a no payment, no interest offer that starts December 1st.
