This week’s export sales are continuing the usual trends. Corn sales are doing very well, while soybeans continue to struggle. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest corn numbers.
While this week’s soybean sales weren’t terrible on their own, they’re just not anywhere near where they need to be right now.
McBride said the latest flash sales have mostly been in the form of corn sales to Mexico.
Argentina recently lifted the national export tax in order to drive sales and stimulate the economy. However, McBride said they hit their sales cap in only three days, so the tax is back on.
