Unverferth Manufacturing has added a 5,000-square-foot facility complete with major renovations and top-of-the-line upgrades at its plant in Shell Rock, Iowa. Communications Manager Jerry Ecklund said this addition will help to streamline the production process.
This is the 13th project for the facility since Unverferth bought Brent Grain Handling in 1988. Since there was already a high demand for Brent grain carts, Ecklund said they wanted to focus on expanding the capacity of the facility.
Ecklund added that, with this expansion, Unverferth is also looking to hire 55 employees to support the increased demand and diversification of the product lines at the Shell Rock plant.
The facility will also help in the production of several other product lines that Unverferth has acquired over the years.
