This week’s export sales came within expectations, even though those numbers were on the low side. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave a breakdown of this week’s export numbers.
However, there were some disappointments in the soybean meal numbers, especially since those prices have been performing extremely well recently.
McBride added that U.S. grains are also competitively priced with Brazil right now.
McBride also offered an outlook on potential cuts to export expectations that the USDA could make in upcoming reports.
