With it being October and National Pork Month, we have a lot to celebrate. The pork industry is producing quality products for consumers all over the world. However, there is always more work to be done. As we see depressed prices for producers, it is important that we see demand continue to grow, and that is what the National Pork Board is working on this month, and all year long.
Dr. David Newman is the Senior VP of Market Growth at the National Pork Board. He talks about the goals that they have at the National Pork Board.
While “Porktober” is an important time to celebrate our products, as Dr. Newman says, this is an all-year endeavor.
