Argentina and some parts of Brazil are seeing nice rains in the nearby forecasts, but there are still large sections of Brazil that are fairly dry. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the current weather conditions.
However, McBride said there are some much-needed rains in the longer-term forecasts.
Soybean planting in Brazil is still behind the average, but not enough to raise any huge concerns yet.
