Rural mainstreet index near growth neutral

Creighton University released its monthly Rural Mainstreet Index Survey on Thursday and
Creighton professor and economist Dr. Ernie Goss says that this month?s survey is largely neutral.

Goss says that the overall rate is slightly lower than last month. At 50.1, it is the third month in a row with the rate above the growth neutral level of 50.

Dr. Goss says that farmers, ranchers, and producers are faring better than other rural economic sectors.
