2022 was at the very least a challenging year for many farmers because of the uncertainty.
Farmers and producers encountered a weather pattern that was not consistent. Dan Berning, agronomy manager with Pioneer, says that weather was not uniform for farmers, but many dealt with drought stress.
Dan Berning says that farmers had a little extra incentive to protect and get as much out of a field as possible with high commodity prices.
Berning says that despite the tests for farmers in 2022, Pioneer has always been a leader in research and development to develop products for producers that can overcome challenging conditions.
Of course before too long, planting season will be here again. Dan Berning says that preparing for a variety of conditions in the spring can have a farmer well covered.
