Each year the Farm Progress Show changes locations from Decatur Illinois to the show site in Boone Iowa, with Illinois hosting in odd-numbered years and Iowa in even-numbered years.
The Farm Progress Show returns to Boone this August and will be held Tuesday August 27th-Thursday August 29th. Matt Jungmann is the Farm Progress national events director and he says that this year’s show will feature a new traffic route that allows for even easier access to the show grounds.
For an event as big as the Farm Progress Show making a travel plan ahead of time is a great idea for show attendees, says Jungmann.
He says the next task for Farm Progress show organizers is planning where each exhibitor will be placed throughout the show grounds.
The last time the Farm Progress Show was held in Boone in August 2022 mother nature did not cooperate which led to issues with the field demonstration portion of the show. Jungmann says he and his team are working hard to have field demonstrations ready for the August show.
