The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) is always working hard to promote soybeans globally, and they?re getting ready to take another trip to Cambodia to promote various soy products. Both the U.S. and Cambodia are looking forward to increasing that relationship. ISA District 9 Director Pat Swanson said the board members are excited to promote things like soy fish feed.
The funds from the Soy Checkoff are used to fund soybean research, and the need for high-quality fish feed was identified in certain countries. Swanson said that fish feed will be especially beneficial for Cambodia since they consume a lot of fish already.
