Today, August 16, is Iowa Corn Day at the Iowa State Fair, and as the nation’s top corn producing state, there was plenty to talk about. Dan Keitzer, board member of the Iowa Corn Growers Association, said products like ethanol are at the forefront of corn promotion right now.
While some products are certainly bigger than others, Keitzer said there are thousands of products that are made from corn.
Keitzer added that the fun activities they bring to the fair for Iowa Corn Day add some enthusiasm for the corn industry.
