He is an Illinois farmer who calls himself the ?Forest Gump of Agriculture.? He has had a wild ride in the past six decades of agriculture, and he?s telling about it in his new book, ?Your Food – My Adventure?

Philip Bradshaw says his sole purpose for writing the book came from a desire to reach the younger generation in Ag, and the disconnected consumers. Bradshaw chronicles his life from being a young man in 1959 to 2017. This includes a 2009 trip with former President Obama.
Bradshaw says his message to the younger generation of agriculture is, ?Be involved. Go to a meeting. Have your own adventure.?
Bradshaw says to make a difference, even a small one, you must get involved. You can?t wait for the world to find you. You must go find the world.
