Agriculture is constantly changing, and sometimes that change can happen extremely quickly. As a result, it’s important for companies at the forefront of ag technology to be able to change and adapt quickly as well. Matt Chambers, vice chair of the board for Landus, said that, while it’s not always easy to see that change from a meeting room, it’s exciting to be able to see the newest developments in ag technology as they are happening.
Being in such a rapidly changing industry requires a lot of flexibility, and that flexibility even carries over to the Landus board meetings. Chambers said that’s how agriculture has always been, though- if you ask anyone who grew up on a farm at a different time than you, you’ll find that your experiences might be drastically different.
There are a lot of innovative companies, so Landus makes sure to partner with the best ones to help farmers get access to the best technologies.
Chambers added that it’s important for these ag solutions to be efficient and easy to use, otherwise they’re not really true solutions.
