Brazil’s weather is status quo, but Argentina is dealing with a heat wave, which could have an impact on the recently planted crop. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest weather conditions in South America.
The cooperative weather in Brazil has allowed harvest progress to move along quite nicely.
The Brazilian soybean crop projections went unchanged for a while, but McBride said there are now some analysts who are anticipating a smaller crop.
McBride added that Argentina is basically finished with planting at this point as well.
