For the 20th consecutive year, Farm Credit Services of America is sharing a portion of its net earnings with customer-owners through its cash-back dividend program. Jim Knuth, senior vice president of lending with Farm Credit Services of America, said customers can expect to see these payouts continue for the foreseeable future.
Knuth said that the dividends scale with how much an individual customer took out in loans for the year.
Knuth said they want to give back to their customers because, as a cooperative, Farm Credit’s success is intrinsically linked to the customer’s success.
Knuth added that Farm Credit also has a new mentorship program for young and beginning farmers.
