Parts of Brazil are getting some nice rains finally, but there is still some lingering dryness. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the current weather conditions in South America.

McBride said there’s also a chance for rain in the longer term, but the forecasts are showing that it might miss the areas that need it most.

It’s still early in Brazil’s current harvest season, but McBride said they are ahead of the average, nonetheless.

It may feel like Argentina has been planting for ages at this point, but McBride said they are just about wrapped up.
