This week, Indigo Ag and Flagship Pioneering announced that Dean Banks will join Flagship Pioneering as CEO-Partner and CEO of Indigo Ag. Banks, who previously served as President and CEO of Tyson Foods, said he’s eager to increase Indigo Ag’s role as a leader in the industry by utilizing science and technology to offer sustainable solutions for farmers and businesses.
Banks said his career has been full of opportunities, and he looks forward to overseeing Indigo Ag as they offer plenty of opportunities to the farmers that they serve.
Banks said there is a lot of scientific research that speaks to the quality of their programs as well.
Banks added that Indigo Ag has had to do a bit of learning in recent years, and they’re approaching 2024 with a renewed focus on reaching farmers.
