U.S. Export Sales Report (1-11-24)

by | Jan 11, 2024 | 5 Ag Stories, News

The USDA released a quiet export sales report ahead of tomorrow’s WASDE report. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave a breakdown of the numbers.

McBride said there was a flash sale to Mexico today, which is very surprising since they said they’d stop importing U.S. corn.

McBride added that, while the discrepancy is much tighter now, the U.S. still holds a discount to Brazilian corn.

McBride also provided a preview of what we might see in tomorrow’s WASDE report.
