Pumpkin spice-ing up milk options this fall

In the spirit of the fall season, Midwest Dairy has partnered with Kwik Trip and Kwik Star stores to bring pumpkin spice-flavored milk to 847 locations across the Midwest. This is the latest result of the ongoing partnership between Midwest Dairy and Kwik Trip. In fact, in 2023, Midwest Dairy partnered to be the sole sponsor of their own dairy product label: Nature’s Touch. Scott Gilray, Midwest Dairy’s vice president of business unit North, said the main goals have been to engage consumers, create excitement around dairy products, and ultimately increase sales.

On top of all of that, Gilray said the promotion supports Midwest dairy producers because Kwik Trip sources their milk from producers within a 100-mile radius of its La Crosse, Wisconsin, facility.

Gilray said it’s been especially rewarding to work with Kwik Trip because they truly have a desire to promote Midwest dairy producers and their products.

The pumpkin spice flavor isn’t the only one they’ve released this year, though- in fact, it’s the fourth of five planned flavor releases.

Gilray noted that positive promotional efforts are very important for agriculture, especially when it comes to the dairy industry, which is a frequent target for criticism from animal rights groups.

The pumpkin spice promotion is planned to last throughout the month of November, but Gilray said it will continue for as long as supplies last, so it’s important to get some milk soon if you want to try this flavor.
