On-farm data can help a producer to make informed decisions about their operation. Now Climate Fieldview is making it easier for farmers to share that information when they need to share their data outside of the farm.
Climate FieldView is a software tool that allows farmers to collect and manage their data on their operation. Scott Speck U.S. product marketing manager with Climate LLC says that one of the new features of Climate FieldView is a process that creates specific data reports which are customized by the user.
Climate FieldView is now capable of sharing those reports through the app in formats that can make the data sharing process easier, says Speck.
Speck says that Climate FieldView reports can help a farmer to make decisions based on the data output of an entire operation.
In Iowa, July 15th is the reporting date for corn and soybeans acreage reports when producers must report the number of acres of each insured crop that they have planted. Climate FieldView?s reports feature can help to simplify the process according to Speck.
Scott Speck mentions ways in which farmers have been able to make improvements on their operations using FieldView reports.
