Missouri Farm Bureau President Garret Hawkins told Congress Wednesday that the updated Waters of the U.S. Rule creates uncertainty and unnecessary costs for farmers and ranchers.
The rule was released in late 2022 and Hawkins says that it creates uncertainty and makes daily operations difficult for farmers.
Hawkins says that he is encouraging farmers to push back against WOTUS.
