AUDIO REPORT: Benefits of Performance Beef with Iowa Customer Craig Moss

Performance Livestock Analytics, part of Zoetis, offers easy-to-use cattle management software that simplifies feeding, performance and health data records.

Performance Beef is a cattle management software that makes it easy to generate real-time closeout reports, create accurate invoices, monitor animal health, and analyze trends in feed intake, costs and performance ? all in one place. Craig Moss is an Iowa customer and says whether you background or finish cattle, Performance Beef connects the entire operation and provides access to information from anywhere at any time.

?It?s crazy what we can measure,? said Moss. ?Whether it?s through soil sampling, seed placement and all of this kind of stuff, the Performance Livestock system kind of fits right in with that. You are able to capture data real-time, have it know where every dollar and cent was spent every day and be able to account for that and look at it. And you are able to get a good look at things. We have a neighbor that custom feeds for us as well. He also uses the program. It?s easy to help keep track of what?s going on with that end of things too.?

Moss talks about why he decided to start using the Performance Beef software.

?I had heard of the program. There?s lots of other programs out there like this, but when we started using it, it was the easiest one to use that was able to have remote access and cloud based. It made it easier to keep an eye on things and be able to manage things better if I wasn?t at home to do the feeding, or really easy that whoever is feeding that day if they have a question and call I can pull it up remote on my phone or iPad and make a change or help them through something.?

With Performance Beef, cattle farmers have the ability to automate feed delivery, organize inputs, generate real-time closeouts, and uncover insights. Visit Performance Livestock Analytics at the 2022 NCBA Trade Show and get an in-person demo. Find them at Booth 1121 next week in Houston, Texas.
