When Farmers Business Network was founded in 2014 it was designed to help farmers farm. The farmer-to-farmer network helps growers pick which seed to use, at the best price, along with agronomic advice and access to affordable crop inputs.
Since its inception FBN has added FBN Finance to help family farmers finance their operation. Now, FBN is introducing a new farmland evaluation tool called AcreVision.
That is Dan English, general manager of FBN Finance.
English says that AcreVision was designed to utilize all the tools available so that a farmer can make an informed land purchase to better their operation.
AcreVision is not limited to just parcels of land that are currently for sale. English says that AcreVision allows farmers to view any parcel of land in Iowa.
Most farmers are already doing their own research before buying land. Dan English says that FBN hopes to make that process easier and more streamlined by giving farmers all the tools they need in one place.
