A professor at the University of California-Davis is challenging cattle producers to rethink methane.
Dr. Frank Mitloehner is a longtime professor and air quality extension specialist at UC Davis. He recently hosted an Iowa Cattlemen?s Association seminar titled, ?Rethinking Methane ? Livestock?s Path to Climate Neutrality.? Mitloehner tells the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network that his lecture focused on moving the world closer to turning what can be viewed as a liability into an asset. In order to do that, livestock emissions and mitigation processes need to be better understood.
