We’re in the new crop marketing year, but there’s still not too much excitement in the export sales. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride provided an update on the latest numbers.
McBride added that we have seen some flash sales, but they’re not as big as we would like to see.
Since the old crop numbers were significantly lower than average and didn’t hit the USDA’s expectations, McBride said they’ll have to make adjustments to the new crop numbers at some point.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers as we enter harvest.
