A fairly normal report ahead of tomorrow’s Quarterly Grain Stocks Report. Both corn and soybeans mostly came within the estimates. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave a breakdown of this week’s U.S. Export Sales Report.
The markets are looking for any news to react to, especially after a mild report like this, but McBride said that they’re not expecting much from tomorrow’s report either.
However, if we’ve learned anything from the last Quarterly Grain Stocks Report, then we know that surprises can and do happen with these reports.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers.
