This week’s export sales were, once again, not remarkable enough to make a noticeable impact on the markets today. Allendale commodity broker Mike Lung provided an update on the numbers.
Lung said there were also some flash sales this morning.
While the price disparity has narrowed slightly, Lung said U.S. grains are still overpriced when compared to Brazil.
As we approach the end of the marketing year, Lung said the export numbers are looking much better for old crop beans than they are for old crop corn.
Lung also provided some advice for Iowa producers.
