U.S. Export Sales Report (4-17-25)

by | Apr 17, 2025 | 5 Ag Stories, News

Despite the intense volatility and uncertainty in the global market, this week’s export sales were excellent for corn and soybeans. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said the corn sales were significantly higher than average.

Soybean sales were also great this week, and those numbers are likely being affected by tariffs. McBride said some countries are most likely trying to get some shipments in before the tariffs go back into effect.

McBride added that the global economy is currently in a bit of a flux, which means that we can’t truly predict what will happen with the exports.
