We saw a decent export sales report this week. Corn is now performing quite well, and, while soybeans are bearish, they are following what we usually see at this time of year. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride provided a breakdown of this week?s U.S. Export Sales Report.
Corn has also continued its success with flash sales, as we have seen flash sales for 7 of the past 8 days.
McBride said this window for corn exports will likely stay open for a while since we are still several months away from Brazil?s safrinha crop harvest.
We also have the USDA?s planting intentions report coming out at the end of this month. McBride said to expect some volatility heading into that report.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers.
