This week?s export sales were uneventful. This is to be expected since we have been going through option expirations. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride provided a breakdown of the latest U.S. Export Sales Report.
For a while, export demand was low since U.S. grains were at a high price level. However, now that the grains are much cheaper, McBride said we could see some increased demand.
As far as the USDA?s export expectations are concerned, McBride said we are still decently behind.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers, especially as they prepare for next week?s WASDE report.
