In the last quarter, tractor sales are behind 2021 levels while combine sales have grown. Curt Blades, Association of Equipment Manufacturers Senior Vice President of Agriculture Services and Forestry says that the details in the sales data tell more of the story.
Blades says that in the last two months, total unit sales have grown in Canada. Here in the United States sales have lagged behind 2021 numbers all year.
Supply chain challenges have been a big thorn in the side of the ag equipment sales industry for several months. That continues to be the biggest concern for the industry overall but Curt Blades urges patience.
Blades says he is optimistic about the rest of the year for the agricultural economy and has high hopes for 2023 as well.
