History of the station:
KHBT became a Radio Station on August 5th, 1970, Robert Christensen owner/operator-Christiansen Broadcasting Company, Bob sold the station in June 1993 to Signature Communications.
Signature owned the station until 2000 and sold to Waitt Radio in April of 2000. Waitt Radio then sold the KHBT to NRG Media in April of 2005. In October of 2014, NRG Media sold KHBT to Riverfront Broadcasting and is owned and operated by them to present day.
KHBT serves great local content, and is the only daily source for news in and around Humboldt.
