The global supply chain saw many disruptions in the last few years from the Covid pandemic, to raw material shortages, and a lack of labor. Nick Farfsing a marketing director with Fendt says that the supply chain disruptions of the past few years have made it difficult for the ag equipment manufacturing industry.
Farfsing says things are continuing to improve for equipment manufacturers every day but there are still challenges that are causing some disruptions and delays.
He says that shortages have led to delays for customers in buying new equipment but that customers are willing to make that sacrifice to secure what they need.
Farfsing says that Fendt continues to expand its range of equipment available in North America.
Nick Farfsing made his comments to the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network at Commodity Classic in Orlando Florida in March.
