Once again, not much has changed in the South American weather patterns. However, things are getting interesting in the exports, especially with the shake-up from last week?s USDA reports. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said that Brazil, with its record crop, has been seeing active export sales.
The price disparity between Brazilian and U.S. grains was already pretty steep, but with last week?s USDA reports, that dynamic has been basically set in stone.
Of course, things aren?t so peachy in Argentina. McBride said they?re still just trying to move on from the terrible crop they just had.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers.
