Clear skies continue to be the story for the weather in South America. This is great news for Brazilian farmers who have just started harvesting second crop corn. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride provided an update on the latest weather conditions.
McBride said Brazil is very slightly behind last year?s harvest pace, but the farmers have only just started.
Argentina is almost finished with harvest, and, at this point, they just want to be able to move on.
We?ve also got a big report to look at this week, as the June WASDE report will be released on Friday. McBride explained what we can expect to see on the South America side of things.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers as we head into Friday?s WASDE report.
