Still looking dry in most of Brazil and Argentina. Brazil is still in the early stages of harvest, and Argentina wants to forget about harvest. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest weather patterns in South America.
With the massive size of Brazil?s second crop corn, McBride said it?s going to take them a while to make progress.
Storage is always an issue during harvest in Brazil, but since Brazil?s grain prices are at such a severe discount to U.S. prices, they?ll be able to keep grain flowing out of the country.
Argentina hasn?t been providing crop updates recently, and that might be because they just want to move on. McBride said they?ll soon be looking ahead to planting season for winter wheat.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers.
